Chu Zi Xi Zi Pi Zi plot
The First Sino-Japanese War, 1942. A besieged Beijing faces famine. A villain kidnaps two Japanese biochemical experts and takes them to a restaurant inhabited by an enigmatic opera actor and a chef. They can't figure out what to do with the two abductees; the actor wants to kill them, but the cook wants to release them. Then they discover that the two experts are keeping an important secret, and the three can make a lot of money with it...
