Soldier on the Roof plot

While the Israeli-Palestinian conflict cries out for a solution, the city of Hebron symbolizes the rock-solid situation. 800 Jewish settlers have established a settlement in the middle of the city. The young Israeli-Dutch filmmaker Hertog rented a caravan and filmed everyday life in the city.
