Die Sieben Raben plot
A young girl is told by two strange women at a well that it is her fault that her brothers have died. The girl didn't even know she had brothers and asks her mother what the women meant. Her mother prefers to keep the story to herself, but reluctantly tells what happened. Her seven brothers had to fetch water so that the girl could be baptized. The water jug accidentally fell into the water, after which the boys did not dare to go home. The father then cursed the boys because he thought they were playing again and wished they would turn into black ravens. He got the shock of his life when his wish came true. After hearing the story, the girl decides to look for her seven brothers.
