The Center of the World plot
The young computer scientist Richard Longman is glued to his computer screen day and night and has no social life. For her part, the extroverted Florence is a drummer in a rock band. Because she can't live on that, she "jobs" as a stripper in Pandora's box, a nightclub on the West Coast. The two meet. Richard is impressed by the flamboyant young woman and offers her $10,000 to spend three days with him in Las Vegas. Florence is hesitant, but eventually accepts the proposal. Gradually they discover that playing with sex and emotions does not go unpunished.
