Gelosia plot

A young Sicilian peasant is killed on the eve of his wedding to the Marquis' maidservant. Suspicion falls on the bride's father, who is sentenced to death. The aunt of the Marquis dismisses the girl because of the scandal, after which she commits suicide. But then truth comes to light.
