Gaston's War plot

In the summer of 1942, Gaston Vandermeerssche (Werner De Smedt), a young Flemish resistance hero, smuggles two English fighter pilots to the Spanish coast. He is assisted by his girlfriend and ally Véronique Sanchez (Mapi Galan). But the escape route through occupied France and the inhospitable Pyrenees has become extremely dangerous. After losing his cover, the ground under his feet has become too hot and Gaston is eager to go to London. The Allied Special Operations English coordination services, however, have other plans for our young hero. They want the Nazis to believe that the Allies are preparing a landing in the Low Countries.
