Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian plot
The film tells the true story of Jimmy Picard, a Blackfeet Native American, who returns from World War II. Shortly thereafter, he begins to exhibit unexplained psychosomatic symptoms. He then travels to the famous Winter Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. There he meets Devereux, and so begins a professional as well as personal friendship, guided by a compassion for and understanding of America's native Native American culture.
