Transit plot
A Filipino family lives and works in Tel Aviv but faces expulsion from Israel because of new legislation against illegal immigrants. The members of a Filipino family live and work in Tel Aviv. Janet is a housekeeper and has a teenage daughter from her former Israeli boyfriend. Her brother Moises, who works in healthcare, has a four-year-old son named Joshua. Joshua's residency status is in jeopardy because of a new law in Israel that would expel young children of illegal immigrants. Because of the threat of this deportation, Moises tries to hide his son as much as possible, but Janet and her daughter are also burdened by this legislation.
