Szczesliwego Nowego Jorku plot
The story follows a group of people from a country in the Eastern Bloc. They lead their own lives, a regular, gray and everyday existence. One day someone decides to change the world, to make everything better. So the life of this group is also changed. The morning is still the morning, the evening is still the evening, but somehow the rest is something else. They have to find a new place to live.

Trainspotting meets Flodder in America.
If I can charge the Polish diaspora that way. The parable is certainly not as developed as in Trainspotting and the film is not as flat and vulgar as Flodder. Although, as soon as Katarzyna Figura appears on screen, you naturally hope that she will take off her clothes. And she does! Albeit briefly and via a video connection.
At first it looks like a bad 90s movie with accompanying soundtrack. You just have to get through that.
The most beautiful scene is the traditional Sunday breakfast. Katarzyna knows how to serve the kielbasa, pierogi, sandwiches, pickles, milk and vodka very tasty
