Le Drame de Shanghaï plot

Russian emigrant Blonski sings in a Shanghai nightclub under the stage name Kay Murphy. All she dreams about is a quiet life with her daughter Vera Blonski. But this turns out to be only a utopia because she is forced by her former lover Ivan to work for the secret criminal organization 'De Zwarte Draak'. Vera, who studies at a boarding school in Hong Kong, knows nothing about her mother's past.
