Lee Towers: The Voice of Rotterdam plot

Documentary about the Rotterdam singer Lee Towers. Born as Leen Huizer, the entertainer grew up in a strict Christian environment and seems destined to spend his working life in the ports of Rotterdam. But then presenter Willem Duys discovers the 'singing crane operator' and Lee soon reaches the top: He 'brings Las Vegas to Holland' and celebrates triumphs with his galas in the Ahoy. Towers talks candidly about these successes, but also about the tragedies that have marked his life.
