The rockers of Golden Earring are followed as they go into the studio after nine years of radio silence to make a new record. The band members of a rock band that is starting its 25th album can now read and write together. Despite this, Golden Earring remains as passionate as ever in search of the typical Earring sound. 'Making Tits 'n Ass' follows the band when recording the album of the same name. According to singer Barry Hay, recording the album in London is like a stress-free delivery. In between the recordings, the band members tell us how the new songs came about with the necessary humor from The Hague. When they get home, however, it turns out that the recordings sound different than hoped. The band is looking for the right sound. It has to sound live, have balls and that is difficult in a studio. Fortunately, a well-known rescue knight comes to the rescue for the remix of the album. The result is a solid, driven and typical Earring record. Maybe the last?
