"Country Girls Startles Broadway!"
When 22-year-old Iowia-born Toni Bradley inherits a number of businesses from her late father and Broadway promoter King Bradley, she quickly realizes she's left with a New York nightclub, a hockey team, and a dog race track, among other things. Upon her arrival in New York, Toni visits her new entertainment venue, Casa Nova Cafe, run by the alluring Steve Gordon. There she also meets Durant, Oklahoma, singer Pinky "Pink" Tomlin, and hires him to sing at her nightclub. However, Adam J. Fielding, a corrupt lawyer and executor of her father's estate, considers Toni a naive girl from the countryside and tries to rid her of her inheritances.
