Moglie per una Notte plot
The womanizer Count D'Origo is looking for a mysterious, beautiful woman, whom he has encountered along the way. The mayor knows he means Geraldine. He devises a plan to help his cousin Enrico get his opera on stage and tells the count that the mysterious woman is his cousin's wife. Geraldine does want to play the game. Meanwhile, Enrico's wife Ottavia undergoes a makeover at Geraldine's house. She is transformed from a boring housewife into a femme fatale by Geraldine's sidekick.
