"A little boy's life is turned upside by the unwelcome arrival of his unruly nephew"

The late Gus (Robert Duncan) is the uncle of a nephew his age. This strange situation makes him the target of bullying from this guy's boyfriends. His parents and other family members also laugh heartily about it, which causes Gus to isolate himself further and further from the outside world.
