"There's a fine line between love and obsession."
After the up-and-coming rock star Hayley (Emily Browning) loses her bandmate and brother to an overdose, she finds herself in a downward spiral. The second album from her band Plush is received as a critical and commercial disaster. However, she finds new hope and friendship in Enzo (Xavier Samuel), the replacement guitarist who inspires her. But soon their collaboration takes a sexual turn. However, Haley, who is married with two children, does not respond to Enzo's advances.
