The documentary is about Korbach, who is determined to make a comeback in the coaching world after overcoming an alcohol addiction. During that search, Korbach is told that he has an aggressive form of throat cancer, from which he dies within a few months. Fritz Korbach was known for the Korbach effect: getting started somewhere and immediately reaping success. He also did this at FC Twente, where he was under contract between 1983 and 1986. In his first season, he ensured that FC Twente immediately returned to the highest level after one year of the first division.
