Born on a full moon night, tiny Tarbosaurus Speckles is now the youngest of its carnivorous family. When one of their rivals named One Eye, a tyrannosaurus rex, causes a runaway herd of beasts, his parents, siblings are killed. Now the defenseless orphan must struggle to survive in the vast, dangerous world. His fellow sufferer Azura joins him and soon a family arises from this friendship. But a devastating volcanic eruption and the snares of the murderous One Eye drive them out of paradise.
