Love Is a Racket plot
"He puts the unfair sex on the spot"
Journalist Jimmy Russell is madly in love with actress Mary Wodehouse, but Mary is more interested in her career. However, there are problems with the bad checks that Mary has written. When Jimmy tries to "park" these checks until Mary can pay them, he finds that the infamous Eddie Shaw has them fully covered. But Eddie does want something in return.
