The Woman Condemned plot

Private investigator Barbara Hammond is found near the corpse of radio singer Jane Merrick. Barbara, who was investigating Jane, is suspected of murder and arrested. Barbara's husband, journalist Jerry Beall, sets out to find the real killer. The trail leads to a mysterious sanatorium, where doctor Wagner operates on a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Jane Merrick. But then Jerry is captured by Wagner's henchmen...
