Le Fantôme du Moulin-Rouge plot

Deputy Julien is head over heels in love with Yvonne, but she rejects him. Desperate, he turns to a spiritist in Moulin-Rouge, who separates his body and mind so that he can watch his beloved undetected. He senses that her father is the victim of blackmail, for which she is deeply ashamed. Like a phantom, he makes sure that everything is cleared up and returns to his body.
