A Hetedik Szoba plot

Biographical drama about the German-Jewish philosopher Edith Stein (Maia Morgenstern), who converts to Catholicism and enters a Carmelite nunnery. When the persecution of the Jews begins, she flees to the Netherlands, but because of the German invasion she is not safe there for long either. In 1942 she died in one of the gas chambers of Auschwitz. Edith Stein was beatified by Pope John Paul II in September 1998.
