A Man's Story plot

"Every Dream has a Price."

Ozwald Boateng is one of the most successful men's fashion designers of recent years. The international breakthrough of the British designer of Ghanaian descent came in 2005 when he became a designer for Givenchy and he dressed the actor Jamie Foxx for the Oscars. The story begins in 1998, a tough year for Boateng. He just got divorced and things are not going well professionally either. A turning point, however, comes in 2000, when Boateng falls in love with the beautiful Russian Gyunel, whom he marries and has two children. Ozwald's star is on the rise and in 2004 he became creative director of fashion house Givenchy. It's a huge honour, but it also means a lot of extra work.
