Skin Deep: The Story of Sandra Laing plot

Sandra Laing was born in 1955 in a conservative town in South Africa. Her parents were white, but she herself had a somewhat dark complexion and frizzy hair due to a freak of nature. She was racially "reclassified" as a colored woman when she was ten. She was expelled from her "white" school overnight. Her parents tried in vain to have that measure reversed.
