L'Affaire Chebeya, un Crime d'Etat? plot

Documentary by Thierry Michel about the political murder of human rights activist Floribert Chebeya, and the turbulent trial that followed before the military court of Kinshasa. Chebeya was the founder of the organization 'Voix des Sans Voix', which wanted to give a voice to the voiceless in Congo. He and his driver were found murdered in his car on June 2, 2010. Although the killers tried to stage the case as a murder of passion, it soon became clear that a number of police officers were involved in the case at the highest level. That was the beginning of an exceptional process, which we can follow closely in this documentary. Lies, forgeries, disappearances of evidence come to light step by step. We also get to know the person behind Floribert Chebeya.
