De Van Waveren Tapes plot

Filmmaker Wim van der Aar finds a box full of audio tapes on Waterlooplein. It turns out to be a collection of private recordings of the youngest son of an influential Dutch family. With this find begins a search for a life story full of relationships, failures, hope and sadness. Gradually, the contours of a bizarre upbringing and its dramatic consequences unfold.
