Hiver Nomade plot
There is snow on the ground and shepherds Carole and Pascal are trekking through French-speaking Switzerland with three donkeys, four dogs and 800 sheep. Along the side of major roads, railroads, suburban homes and industrial estates, they move across fields and forests. They meet the locals, the farmers they are friends with, but also the unwilling to let their sheep roam their pastures. They sleep in the open air, warm themselves by the fire and wash in the watercourses. This is what it can look like when nature and culture meet: a sheep on the veranda of a terraced house or an oyster meal around a winter campfire...
