The Baroness and the Pig plot

At the end of the nineteenth century, a wealthy American woman marries a French baron. She wants to introduce an American version of a Parisian salon to their Christian village. She is supported in this by Emily, a shy young lady who was raised in the wild. The revolutionary initiative is met with resistance from the established aristocrats. When a murder takes place, the two women are completely dependent on each other.
