Le Désamour plot

Laura and Bertrand have been married for 12 years and each lead a busy business life. She as editor-in-chief at a publishing house, he as a brilliant architect. Laura's teenage daughter Sophie is in college and has a boyfriend whom she would like to introduce to her mother and Bertrand. What Sophie doesn't know yet is that after 12 years of marriage, her mother and Bertrand are disappointed in their love for each other. Bertrand therefore decides to live separately with his new girlfriend Charlotte – much to Sophie's dismay.
