Children of the Tsunami plot
March 11, 2011: A tsunami hits Japan. What impact does this have on school children who survived the disaster and how has their lives changed as a result? Wise for their age, but sometimes still open-minded, the children tell their moving stories. At a primary school on the coast, 74 children died during the disaster. How did the children experience the hectic pace of the moment? And how do they now deal with the loss, grief and mourning. Another school is in Fukushima, where a nuclear power plant caused a nuclear disaster due to the tidal wave. How does it feel when you can't go home because of the radioactive radiation? And if, even in the 'safe' zone, everything you do, be it playing outside or exercising in the gym, must first be measured whether the radiation is not too high?
