They worked together for almost forty years and in that period Kees van Kooten and Wim de Bie made hundreds of hours of television. Initially with 'Hadimassa' and 'Het Gat van Nederland', then with the 'Simplisties Verbond'. For years they were the standard for humor and satire on television. They enriched the language with dozens of words they invented themselves - from doom-mongering to rule cousin. They received the Silver Nipkow Disc twice. In 1985 they received the Ere Nipkow disk for their entire television oeuvre. This documentary provides a unique insight into a wealth of archive material and will visit and talk to van Kooten and de Bie themselves.
