This is the predecessor of Der Untergang. And he's pretty nice too. It's more like a documentary than a real movie. Also a pity that it is an English production, so English is spoken. A Hitler who speaks English should actually be banned. But all in all, an interesting film with a reasonably playing Alec Guinness as Hitler.

Not an impressive film and certainly not an impressive rendition of Guinness , Bruno Ganz plays him completely off the screen in Der untergang .

There is also little tension in the film , no threat , it is all a bit lackluster .
