Andlit Norðursins plot
For thousands of years, the Inuit have lived in harmony with their land and the frozen ocean. Rapid social and environmental changes threaten their traditional way of life. Icelandic photographer Ragnar (Rax) Axelsson has been visiting the Inuit for nearly three decades, during which time he developed a unique bond with the lonely inhabitants of the Arctic. In 'Last Days of the Arctic', the consequences of climate change for a nomadic people like the Inuit are painfully exposed. A document about a people that cannot escape global problems.
