British docu-drama about a tragic true event. A filmmaker embarks on a quest to uncover Joyce Vincent's life. Joyce Vincent was a woman of African descent who died in 2003 in her North London studio apartment at the age of 38. Her body was not discovered until three years later, in 2006, with the heating and TV still on. No one had noticed her missing, and newspaper reports offered few details of her life - not even a photo.
