"A film about love and Fungi"

A couple lives by picking wild mushrooms. Before dawn they get up, go into the woods and sell their finds to restaurants in New York. He is the monomaniac expert, she has a more practical slant. It is a hard and insecure existence and so she decides to take a job as a cook at a trendy restaurant. As her culinary star rises, their relationship goes downhill.
