"A vacation trip that will change the family forever"
This Chilean road movie is set entirely in and around the car of a middle-class family on a four-day trip to the north of Chile. It will be their last trip as a family. The journey, which begins so cheerfully with all kinds of car games, quickly takes on melancholy undertones when everyone appears to be looking for their own destination in the desert: the children only want to go to the beach, while the father heads for a new life in a different apartment, and the mother especially longs for a place that no longer exists where everything is still the same.
