Very predictable, indeed, a "French comedy without humor." Not a bad film per se, but also utterly forgettable. Recommended only for die-hard Jean Reno fans.

Straight to the sale bin.

Initially, it's not too bad and there's enjoyment to be had in the culinary exploits of our two chefs, but as the film progresses, the novelty wears off, it becomes clichéd and actually without ideas, and ultimately becomes completely flat.

The filmmaker may have wanted to take aim at the atmosphere surrounding top restaurants and the celebrity crush, but even then you can hardly call it a successful comedy.

Jean Reno seems like a charismatic chef to me.

A decent film about a chef who hasn't yet found his place in the gastronomic world. The film progresses predictably, but this is hardly distracting. There are plenty of entertaining situations, and the film certainly doesn't drag on too long. Furthermore, Jean Reno and Michaël Youn deliver engaging and enthusiastic performances.
