Buenas Noches, España plot

A boy and a girl travel through Spain, but they also seem to travel through a lost world. They stop the car to admire a mountain panorama, take a walk through the city, making funny faces at each other, and visit a museum, where they pose for each other full of cheesiness. Are the main characters about to be shot to another place or time? And is that because they are under the influence of drugs?
