Het Gordijnpaleis van Ollie Hartmoed plot

Ollie Hartmoed's Curtain Palace is about nine-year-old Ollie Hartmoed who has an extraordinary and complicated family. His father is in his third marriage and his mother moves in with her new boyfriend and his children. Ollie has countless half-sisters, stepbrothers, adoptive sisters and a baby is on the way. When Ollie's grandpa and grandma also split up, everyone argues with each other and the whole Hartmoed family is at odds with each other. Ollie feels closest to his great-grandfather, 99-year-old Grandpa. He has an almost impossible wish for his hundredth birthday: the whole Hartmoed family together. And so Ollie's mission begins: with the necessary ingenuity, resilience and humor, he tries to fulfill Grandpa's wish and at the same time save the Hartmoed Curtain Palace, the once prestigious family business, from destruction.
