The Doors: Mr. Mojo Risin - The Story of LA Woman plot
A few months after 'LA Woman' (1971) was released, singer Jim Morrison died in his hotel room in Paris at the age of 27. The record contains hits such as 'Riders on the Storm', 'Love Her Madly' and 'LA Woman'. The surviving group members Ray Manzarek (keyboards), Robbie Krieger (guitar) and John Dansmore (drums) talk about how the record came about at the time and the life of the group at that time. There are also interviews with Jac Holzman (founder of their record label Elektra Records), Bill Siddons (manager), Bruce Botnick (technician and co-producer on the record) and other key witnesses of the era. Their stories are illustrated with archive footage of live performances and studio recordings and new musical demonstrations from the remaining Doors members.
