Das Mädchen auf dem Meeresgrund plot
Vienna, 1950. In the summer of 1947, Hans Hass hires Lotte Baierl as secretary. Lotte also wants to join an expedition that he has planned. She takes diving lessons and goes diving in lakes around Vienna. Hass, however, is vehemently opposed to a woman's participation, but if the film company thinks it should, he gives in. During the expedition in the Red Sea, he is impressed by the woman, but does not show it. Only much later does he admit that Lotte means more to him than just a secretary or diver.
