"The Artist Who Opposed The Soviet Dictatorship"

It is 1945. Stalin rules Poland. The well-known painter Wladislaw Strzeminski refuses to adapt his art to the doctrine of social realism. After he is persecuted and fired as a university teacher, his works are also removed from the museums. With the help of some students, he begins to fight against the communist party and becomes the symbol of the artistic resistance against intellectual tyranny.
