During the Nobel Prize Gala, the controversial winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine is gunned down on the dance floor. Journalist Annika Bengtzon is one of the witnesses in the police investigation. She penetrates deeper and deeper into the background of the murder case – and into the mind of the killer. And everywhere she comes across traces of Alfred Nobel, the brilliant scientist with the tragic life.
