Obsessed with a Married Woman plot

Tony (Tim Matheson) makes a living as a freelance journalist. He confides his frustrations to a mistress, because he is an inveterate bachelor. Diane (Jane Seymour) is the editor-in-chief of a popular weekly magazine and he is tasked with collecting testimonials from women who deviate from the classic pattern for the special Valentine's Day issue. He does it because he falls for Diane. They begin a passionate relationship.
