Ich War Jack Mortimer plot

Viennese taxi driver Fred (Anton Walbrook) finds a body in his car. Afraid of being accused of murder, he takes on the role of the dead man. From that moment on he is Jack Mortimer (Georg A. Profé). After many dramatic entanglements, when Fred has become more and more suspicious, the real murderer reveals himself: conductor Pedro (Eugen Klöpfer), mad with jealousy, has murdered his wife's lover.
