Albert's Memorial plot

Harry and Frank promise their friend Albert to grant his dying wish: he wants to be buried on the mountain in Germany where the three fought side by side during World War II. Feeling too old for adventure, yet determined to keep their word, they travel across Europe in Harry's black cab on a journey full of surprises. Hopelessly lost in France, they pick up German hitchhiker Vicki, who instinctively reveals the dark secret that has haunted them for over fifty years, and helps them find their way back.
