"All he wanted was a little adulation"
Young, handsome Adam from New York dreams of becoming a star. He moves in with his girlfriend Candy who, in between auditions, spends her time exercising, shopping and looking for a rich man. Adam gets off to a rocky start with little income and an unbearable job at a call center. A new movie production looks promising, but Adam has to deal with sluggish directors, lifeless stars, old celebrities and drug addicts. He soon ends up in the underworld of gay porn and prostitution.
