Zwarte Soldaten plot

From 1940 about 25,000 Dutchmen served in the Waffen-SS. Despite their sizeable number, they have been little to no publicity after the war. In this documentary, eight Dutch former SS men tell their story. Never before have former SS men spoken so openly about their motives, their (mis)deeds, their experiences on the (Eastern) front and their struggle with the memories of the past.
