Liebe am Fjord - Das Meer der Frauen plot

After 16 years, the successful fashion designer and black sheep of the Marit Gustavsson (Baumeister) family returns to her native village of Solvorn in Norway. Her older sister Kristin (Daniel) isn't too happy about that. Because now the fact that Marit is the biological mother of Ida, the daughter of Kristin, comes to the surface again. Kristin never told Ida that Marit is Ida's biological mother. After the birth, Marit left Ida with Kristin and then disappeared. With Marit's return, Ida learns the truth about her parentage and Kristin desperately tries to keep her family together.
