Zatôichi to Yôjinbô plot

Ichi seeks peace in a village that since his last visit has fallen into the hands of Boss Masagoro, the son of a merchant who is rumored to have stolen gold from a Shogunate. The Boss has hired Yojimbo as his warrior, however, Yojimbo is a spy for the Shogunate and in love with the merchant's reluctant sweetheart named Umeno. Hired as the merchant's masseur, Ichi buys Umeno's freedom. Yojimbo breaks off with Ichi and goes to play the father and son and their gangs off against each other. As the two camps fight, Ichi finds the gold and mounts a final showdown.
